Eternal Praise
Eternal Praise is Searching!
They are searching for that heart to touch – that soul to connect with. They are a dynamic, purpose driven recording and performing vocal group based in Baltimore, Maryland. They all love the Lord and they all seek the same thing. Listen to their songs or watch them perform and it doesn’t take long to figure out what that “thing” is.
They simply want to change lives for the good of The Kingdom through their music ministry.
All About Them
The music genre is gospel and inspirational, but the approach is quite different from a lot of gospel artist because their sound is not quote “gospel”. Upon hearing them, your first inclination is to just enjoy the beauty of their harmony, but once you listen to their lyrics, before long you are rejoicing in the Lord!

Comprised of four gentlemen with extensive vocal ranges and years of collective experience, their history together however, is relatively short. They were formed in the summer of 2008. The members consist of, Eric Smith (second tenor-bass), Greg Dunlap (falsetto-second tenor), Robert Milbourne (first tenor-alto), and Wayne Taylor (falsetto-bass).
All of the members share lead vocal duties and easily transition from frontman to backup with effortless grace.
Since their inception, they have enjoyed live performances at such venues as Coppin State University in Baltimore, The Tiffany East Union Hall in Highlandtown, and The Westin Hotel at Baltimore-Washington Airport in Linthicum, Maryland, just to name a very small few. They have entertained The Love’s Organization for their 2009 Annual Fund Raiser (where they were enthusiastically received) as well as the members of Centennial Caroline Church as the featured act for their 2009 Anniversary Celebration. They were also joyously hailed as the sole performers at the church service for the Butler-Braxton-Quarles & Roane family reunion, held here in Maryland.
From the onset, Eternal Praise made the decision to record and record they have. They went straight into the studio to work on their initial project and have released their debut single, “Trust in He”, on the Hizwill Music Label.
Hizwill Music is an independent company founded by Wayne Taylor along with the heartfelt blessings and support of the remaining members of the group.
The single has so far enjoyed an exciting reception from everyone who has heard it across the board! It is a smooth and touching, moderately paced song that draws you in ear-first, then holds you by your heart until you actually feel it’s message. Released on October 19, 2009, it has gotten airplay on local radio station 1010 AM (WOLB), 88.9 FM (WEAA) and on Urban Gospel Sounds (Pastor Charles Scott) in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Eternal Praise has even introduced an alternate version of “Trust In He” that they only perform live, so you’ve got to catch their next performance! This version features a more lively tempo with a hearty bass-line and horn accompaniment. You can purchase the single from the group’s website, www.hizwillmusic.com. Eternal Praise has also completed shooting their debut video for their upcoming song, “Let’s Just Praise the Lord”, and are presently looking forward to recording their upcoming full CD (Stay Tuned).
To say that Eternal Praise is beginning to go to another level would be right in line with the truth. They have shared the stage with such local names as Heaven 600′s Lee Micheals and Doresa Harvey, also with national artist Ernest Pugh. They are gearing up for performances at Indian Acres in Thornburg, Virginia, as well as for The Church at Baltimore (Pastor Matt Stuzman). They are constantly answering requests for their uplifting and inspiring performances. They also eagerly work with many churches in and around the Baltimore area for various upcoming events.
The “Trust in He” single is showing even more promise and they are working with all of the regional radio stations to “spread the word”!
You can contact them on MySpace, Facebook and very soon on “iTunes” and you can view their videos on YouTube.
With all that Eternal Praise has going for them, it seems like it won’t take long for them to find what they are searching for. But once they do, they each say to a man, they will begin a new search to touch a new heart and connect with a new soul!
